Austin Heat

Cold showers are required for this steamy series. After all, it gets hot in Texas!

The fifth installment in Amari Nylix’s addictive series, Austin Heat: THE ONE…Who Taught Me will yank at your heartstrings while moving you to cheer for happy endings.

If this were a TV show (it is not…yet ), think: Virgin River hooks up with Friday Night Lights but naughtier. Add in a little Yellowstone toothpick-chewin’ and you get the vibe of this spicy Austin-based series, with a host of intriguing characters as they search for The One.

Dwayne finally decides to confront a secret that fills him with shame. His lifeline, Dr. Garcia Martinez, has him reeling, questioning his declaration to remain a lifelong bachelor. Will Dwayne’s charm be enough for Dr. Garcia Martinez? Will she ultimately stray from her family’s path for her life?

Jake leans on Dwayne to help him with a proposal for the ages and, of course, social media. Meanwhile, Rakell steps closer and closer to stardom while keeping her bond with Jake alive. Jake and Rakell have woven themselves into each other’s family and friends' lives. Will this help secure their forever future?

Matt makes a bold move, causing Rakell and Jonathon great unease. Melissa’s marriage prompts her to confront the truth about her choices and their impact on her children.

Can Dr. Garcia Martinez shed the cloak of privilege her family's wealth ensures to make her dreams come true? Will Dwayne detangle himself from the insecurities and fears of his past and embrace a chance at a future he has never imagined?
